Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has completed the sale of its electrical and automation business to Schneider Electric in an all-cash deal worth nearly ₹14,000 crore which was announced in May 2018. L&T Group Chairman AM Naik called the deal "a key milestone" in the company's long-term strategy. About 5,000 employees of L&T's electrical and automation business will join Schneider Electric.
