SoftBank Group has announced that it will sell nearly $14 billion worth stake of its Japanese mobile unit. The sale would bring its stake in the unit to 40.4% from 62.1%. SoftBank added it will hold the remaining shares "for the medium to long term". The announcement marks the expansion of SoftBank's programme to raise $41 billion through asset sales.
