Shriram Transport Finance Company Limited (STFC), a vehicle asset financing arm of Shriram Group, launches Blockchain-assured Digital Fixed Deposit (FD) Certificates. While the company had to wait to go live with Blockchain due to regulatory approvals from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
STFC is now planning to onboard other Blockchain startups to leverage the technology and to adopt innovations via the new technology.
This use case has gain momentum in the country and it aims to provide cryptographic security and authenticity on its private Blockchain with seamless customer service.
