Companies slash growth forecast for FY24 amid macroeconomic headwinds.
Leading IT services majors TCS, Infosys and HCL Tech’s net employee addition has shrunk by more than 16,000 during the July-September quarter.
According to the results declared for the second quarter, the three companies together have an employee base of 1.15 million at the end of September 2023 compared to 1.17 million three months ago.
All three IT giants also saw their voluntary attrition levels moderating to around 14 per cent—a contrast to the 20 per cent-plus attrition witnessed two years ago.
