Google Maps now has a COVID-19 layer because 2020

Google is working on a new Google Maps feature that will show Covid-19 case trends in an area, it says the Covid layer in Maps will help you make more informed decisions about where to go and what to do.

When users open the Google Maps application, users need to tap on the layers button that appears on the top right-hand corner. Here, users need to tap on the “Covid-19 info.” The layer will show users a seven-day average of new Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people for the area on the Maps.
