The Bharti Infratel board has given approval for the company's merger with Indus Towers. Bharti Infratel will hold 68.6% in merged entity while Vodafone Group will own 28.2% stake, the company said. The deal will allow Vodafone Idea to divest 11.15% stake in Indus Towers for around ₹4,000 crore. Bharti Infratel had announced the deal with Indus Towers in 2018.
